John Trahan

John Trahan started detailing neighbors' vehicles in Plattsburgh, NY then joined the U.S. Coast Guard after graduating Peru High School. His father was an Air Force Captain and his sister was an Air Force Major, so the military is big part of his life. In 1998 John was honorably discharged and moved to Vermont to be closer to his family and Lake Champlain. After many years in corporate life he left his job and started 802 Marine in 2016. With only a few tools and a nearly obsessive desire to make things shine, John has been honing his skills for over 30 years. John lives with his wife Angela in Colchester, VT and spends his summers living aboard his boat in Mallett's Bay.

Cooper Knight has a passion for detailing and learned the trade quickly. He started with 802 Marine in February 2020 and continues to be a key part of our success. His willingness to learn, alternate process ideas, and take charge attitude made it possible for us to streamline our processes and expand our services. Cooper's family is well integrated into the US military and local police, which is why he is such a great fit for our team.
